A Kingston teen was taken to the hospital for treatment following a vehicle/deer collision in West Rome.
According to the Rome Police Department report:
The incident occurred on Sunday at around 1:30 p.m. on Redmond Circle near Chieftain Drive when a deer ran into the roadway and collided with a 1998 Mercedes.
The deer penetrated the windshields and the 18-year-old driver sustained cuts to his face and neck.
There were two other teenagers in the vehicle, but they were uninjured.
