Floyd County Jail Records –
A 33-year-old Rome man was booked into the Floyd County Jail on Tuesday for burglary charges. According to Floyd County Jail Records, Samuel Lewis Burger of a Cleveland Avenue address allegedly used a pry bar to break into a laundry mat on Shorter Avenue and stole $4,000 worth of quarters. The incident happened back on October 29th of this year. Jail reports stated that Burger was also wanted for a theft that occurred back in August as well. Burger is being charged with two counts of second-degree burglary and theft by receiving stolen property.
