The Rome City Schools Board of Education held a public called board meeting on Friday afternoon for the purposes of discussing school safety protocols following two instances of students bringing guns to Rome High School.
Concerned Rome Parents and citizens were given an opportunity to make their comments and concerns known. RCS interim superintendent Dawn Williams then gave a report before the School Board went into a closed session to privately discuss the matters further.
