Rome High has three Governor’s Honors finalists

Finalists for the Governor’s Honors Program were announced over the weekend and Rome High School has three students who qualified in their area of study.

Asiel Castillo-Campos is a finalist and he is nominated in the Engineering category.

Shriya Garg will represent Rome City Schools in the area of Mathematics, and Miriam Loya will participate in the Science classification, specifically Biology and Environmental Science.

The Georgia Governor’s Honors Program is a residential summer program for gifted and talented high school students who will be rising juniors and seniors.

The program takes place on the campus of Berry College.
