A 40-year old man is facing charges of criminal attempt to commit aggravated child molestation following his arrest earlier this week.
According to Floyd County Jail records, William Duane Rabideau made online contact with someone he believed to be under the age of 16 and then engaged in graphic descriptions of sexual acts.
He sent several lewd pictures of himself and pornographic videos to the person while asking for nude pictures in return.
Rabideau then contacted a taxi company to pick up the person and bring her to his home in Toccoa.
Rabideau was also charged with furnishing obscene material to a minor, obscene internet contact with a child, sexual exploitation of children, and use of a computer to entice a child.
He is additionally charged with being a fugitive for justice and is being held for an out-of-state police department.
