Early Monday morning the RomeGACares Tornado Relief volunteers and the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office braved the wintery weather to prepare to depart to Mayfield Kentucky to help provide relief and aid after tornadoes recently devastated their community and surrounding areas.
WRGA News also spoke with East Rome Walmart team members Amy Breeden (Store Manager) and Debbie Nesbitt (Community involvement Coordinator) who described how they got involved with the tornado relief effort.
