Two arrested for possession of heroin, firearms

Two Rome men were arrested Wednesday at a residence on Leafmore Road on drugs and weapons charges.

According to Floyd County Jail records, 26-year old Quendrick Cortez Fain was found with more than four grams of suspected heroin, a semi-automatic pistol, and a semi-automatic rifle.

He was charged with trafficking heroin, possession of heroin, possession with the intent to distribute, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Fain had been convicted of a felony this past year.

He is also charged with a probation violation.

Meanwhile, 30-year old Kendrick Cornez Fain was found with suspected heroin, scales, baggies, and a semi-automatic pistol.

He was charged with possession of heroin, possession with the intent to distribute, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, along with a probation violation.

The report states that he had been convicted of a felony back in 2008.
