Rome firefighters responded to a massive structure fire on Dean Avenue early Sunday morning.
According to Rome Fire Marshal Mary Catherine Chewning, the call came in at around 2:06 a.m. and the warehouse at 1511 Dean Avenue was heavily involved when firefighters arrived on the scene.
Chewning said there was extensive damage and a structural collapse.
She added is a lot of work that has to be done before investigators can get into the structure, so the cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
There were no injuries.
