Three more candidates qualified to run for the Rome Board of Education Thursday.

Chair Faith Collins qualified to seek another term.

Victor Hixson and James Asbury also qualified.

They join Alvin Jackson, Jill Fisher, Melissa Davis, John Uldrick, Will Byington, Tracy McDew and Pascha Burge who all qualified earlier in the week.

There are four candidates who have qualified for three seats on the Rome City Commission.

They are Randy Quick, Elaina Beeman,, LuGina Brown and Tyrone Holland.

Qualifying for the November 2 municipal election concludes Friday.
