The Georgia Department of Public Health reported 6,480 new COVID-19 cases across the state on Tuesday.
That’s the most since late January of this year.
29 new cases were reported in Floyd County and the seven-day moving average is just over nine.
There were also 21 confirmed deaths reported across the state on Tuesday, none of them in Floyd County.
167 new hospitalizations were also reported statewide.
