The Bartow County Planning Commission will conduct a zoning hearing on July 12 that could pave the way for a proposed $80-million dollar business center on Cass-White Road.
According to the agenda for the meeting, Bartow Land Partners, LLC is seeking to rezone the two parcels totaling more than 78 acres from Agricultural to Business Park District.
The goal is to construct two industrial buildings, which combined, equals more than 1.3 million square feet.
The Rome News-Tribune reported that one building would be a warehouse while the other would be a cross-docking distribution center.
