More drug arrests on Martha Berry Boulevard

Rome-Floyd Metro Task Force Officer made more drug arrests at motels on Martha Berry Boulevard on Wednesday in addition to the multiple arrests made on Tuesday.

According to Floyd County Jail records, the execution of a search warrant on a room at the FairBridge Inn turned up a quantity of methamphetamine and glass smoking devices.

28-year old Leah Kate Bramlett and 21-year old Hunter Lee Meeler were charged with possession of meth and possession of drug-related objects.

The task force also executed a search warrant on a room at the Relax Inn and found meth, synthetic marijuana, gabapentin tablets, digital scales, and smoking devices.

45-year old Aubrey Courtland Floyd is facing multiple charges while 39-year old Tiel Renee Bywaters is charged with possession of synthetic marijuana.

According to the report, Floyd was seen attempting to flush contraband down the toilet as officers were attempting to enter the room.

Once at the jail, Floyd was seen spitting a baggie containing suspected marijuana and heroin into a trash can in the booking room.

 

A 31-year old Rome man has been arrested on a felony warrant charging him with the sale of methamphetamine.

According to the warrant, Wesley Ryan Thacker sold meth to a confidential informant at a location on Martha Berry Boulevard back on May 21.

During his arrest on Wednesday, Thacker was found with meth in his front pocket and Hypodermic needles in his backpack resulting in additional charges.

 

A 35-year old Rome man was arrested at Martha Berry Boulevard and Redmond Road Wednesday morning on drug charges.

According to Floyd County Jail records, James Taylor Hardin had heroin in his sock along with a digital scale, a spoon with heroin residue, and syringes in his vehicle.

Hardin is charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug-related objects.
