Rome City Schools to offer vaccines to students over 16

Rome City Schools will be partnering with Floyd Medical Center to provide COVID-19 vaccinations to all students over the age of 16 who wish to be vaccinated.

Details of the program will be released after coordinating the effort with Floyd Medical Center healthcare professionals.

Meanwhile, a survey is being conducted to determine interest in Rome City Schools offering a COVID-19 vaccination event.

Vaccination specifics:
*Vaccines Available: Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19
*Provided by the Floyd Medical Center
*Number of Shots: 2~ 21days between vaccination shots
*How Given: Muscle of Upper Arm
*No Cost
*Availability: Available to ALL Rome City Parents and Students 16 and Over
*Where: Rome City School College and Career Academy
*Anticipated Dates : First Shot ~ April/ Second Shot~ May
*Vaccination is VOLUNTARY!
