Additional information has been released concerning a fatal wreck Tuesday morning near Emerson in Bartow County.
Emerson Police reports that Ralph Lowe was traveling north on State Route 293 just south of Allatoona Dam Road in a 2004 Ford F-150.
The truck left the east side of the roadway.
It returned spinning counterclockwise into the lane of travel of a 2000 Ford Econoline traveling south.
The van struck the truck on the passenger side in the cab area.
Lowe died at the scene.
The driver of the van was transported by ambulance to Cartersville Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
