Report: Woman failed to stop for funeral, fled from deputies

FLOYD COUNTY JAIL RECORDS

A Rome woman was arrested after she reportedly failed to yield for a funeral procession on Shorter Avenue and then fled from Floyd County Sheriff’s Deputies.

According to Floyd County Jail records, 50-year old Angela Carla Green drove recklessly and on the wrong side of the road placing the public at risk near the funeral procession.

Green then decided to stop her vehicle on top of railroad tracks.

She is charged with fleeing or attempting to elude, failure to yield for a funeral procession, reckless driving, driving on the wrong side of the road, and parking on railroad tracks.
