Spring sports registrations are in full swing at Rome-Floyd Parks and Recreation, and there is still time to take advantage of early registration discounts. Spring sports include baseball, t-ball and softball. The early registration period ends on Jan. 31.
Regular registration for all three sports runs from Feb. 1 to Feb. 13. Baseball and softball both offer multiple age groups and the age control date for recreational sports is the player’s age on or before Sept. 1, 2021.
Income-based fee assistance is also available to Rome and Floyd County residents.
Registration can be processed online at rfpra.com or in person at Parks and Recreation headquarters at 1 Shorter Avenue during regular office hours Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Applications for fee-based assistance must be submitted in person with proper documentation.
