On Monday afternoon, a dump truck lost its load in the roadway just past the Hill Crest Baptist Church on North Broad Street.
According to 911 dispatch, the dump truck was hauling mud for the Norfolk Southern Railway when the load was lost just past the church.
The mud and debris covered the right lane from the area of the bridge almost to the University Dodge Dealership.
Georgia DOT aided in the clean up process, which temporarily affected the right lane of traffic in that area.
