Pruitt Health in Rome reports 29 resident COVID-19 cases

In the latest Long-Term Care Facility COVID-19 report, the Georgia Department of Community Health reports that Pruitt Health on Three Mile Road in Rome has 29 resident coronavirus cases.

There have also been six staff cases and one resident death from coronavirus, as of August 10.

The numbers have not changed since the last report.

Floyd County, as a whole, has now reported 1,517 total cases as of Monday, up by 13 from Sunday’s report from the Georgia Department of Public Health.

Bartow County reported another death Monday for a total of 63 since the start of the pandemic.

Bartow also reported 17 more positive test results for a total of 1,885.

Gordon County was up 10 cases from Sunday to Monday while Polk County saw six new cases and Chattooga County reported one new case.
