The Rome City School System has announced the dates and times for their “Meet the Teacher” events ahead of the start of the upcoming school year.
Elementary school students and their parents can meet their teachers on August 10 from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. for kindergarten and from 1 until 3 p.m. for incoming first-graders.
On August 11, second graders can meet their teachers from 9 until 11 while the time slot for third graders is from 1 until 3.
Then on August 12, “Meet the Teacher” will be held for Pre-K and 4th graders from 9 to 11 and from 1 to 3 for 5th and 6th graders.
Parents with children in multiple grades may come on one day and visit all teachers.
Students planning on attending the Virtual learning Academy should also attend.
The Rome City Schools will begin classes on August 13.
