The Historic Courthouse located at 4 Government Plaza, Rome, Georgia, will be closed on Thursday, March 26, 2020, for renovations to the Tax Commissioner’s Office and the Tax Assessor’s Office.
Glass will be installed to protect both citizens and our employees while doing business with these essential offices.
The building will reopen on Friday, March 27, 2020, with continued limited services to the public. Citizens can continue to visit https://www.romefloyd.com/
Tag renewals and property tax payments can be made through www.floydcountytax.com.
To help our customers, the tax office will not charge the processing fee for online property tax payments through the end of March.
