FLOYD COUNTY JAIL RECORDS

A woman from Stone Mountain is in the Floyd County Jail charged with conspiracy to commit a felony, use of a communication facility to commit a felony and possession of items prohibited for inmates.

According to the arrest warrants, 40-year old Nicole Elena Edwards conspired with an inmate at the Floyd County Prison and another man through recorded phone calls, messages and emails to arrange a contraband drop at the Rome-Floyd Recycling Center on Lavender Drive.

The contraband included 98.9 grams of suspected marijuana and 29.6 grams of suspected methamphetamine.

Edwards allegedly decoded the messages which were sent in pig Latin that provided instruction for the delivery of the drugs.
