Afghan Women's Writing Project

Oct 19, 2012 7:30pm - 9:30pm

To go along with their new slogan (Theatre Worth Doing), Berry College Theatre Company is proud to announce a special project comprised of stories and poems from the Afghan Women’s Writing Project. Founded in 2009 by novelist Marsha Hamilton, AWWP supports the voices of women with the belief that to tell one’s story is a human right.

Co-sponsored by the Women’s and Gender Studies Program.
Performance date is Friday, Oct 19th at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are $5 for students and $10 for adults.
All proceeds will be donated to AWWP.
The performance will be held at Berry College in the E H Young Theatre in Blackstone Hall. Once you enter the gates you will come to a roundabout follow that and exit onto the 4th road (if the roundabout was a regular intersection you would take a left). Follow that road until it forks and then take the left fork and until it dead ends, the theatre building is the last building along that road.
